Christmas Time is Here

I love Christmas time. I don't know many people that don't love it, but I'm in the top 5% for sure. Case in point, I've had Christmas music playing nearly 24/7 since the first of October. Looking at it in the harsh digital typeface, I started to panic and immediately started researching the newest songs and worrying about how we're going to learn 30 new songs in a month and... and... and....

The Sound of Hearts Returning

Sunday, 11 July 2010 05:47 Published in Blogs

One of my team members and I were discussing the upcoming visit of one of my favorite songwriters, Brenton Brown. She commented that she had pondered the lyrics in his song Hosanna (Praise is Rising). The line in Verse 2 says "Hear the sound of hearts returning to You". On the surface this could seem like a convenient lyric that matches the meter of the song well, but may not mean much. However as I reflect on it more an more I think it's an amazing thought...
